冬、日本海に面した越前海岸では、海は静かな時もあれば荒れた白波が外洋から押し寄せてくる日もあります。あちこちに変わった形の岩が点在しています。

海が静かな夕暮れにはイカ釣り船の漁火が光り、近くの岩場では磯の大物を狙う釣り人が集まります。
